Words or actions that make others feel threatened or demeaned will not be tolerated and
necessary action will be taken to protect patients and staff.
Harassment is:
Inappropriate Words (by phone, by email, in person or any other means of communication.
• Yelling or language that is abusive
• Disrespectful or demeaning comments or language
• Remarks that degrade or offend
• Discriminatory remarks
• Threatening behavior or threats
• Bullying
• Sexual Harassment
Inappropriate Actions:
• Violence (physical attacks or threats of harm)
• Intimidation
• Damaging of property or breaking things
• Unwelcomed physical contact
• Refusing to leave the property
Individual(s) displaying any of the behavior mentioned above will be asked to leave the premises
and may face dismissal from our practice.
